Skilling for Recovery is a NSW Government program to provide fee free training to help job seekers retrain or up-skill as well as support school leavers to enter the workforce for the first time.

As a NSW Government Smart and Skilled training provider. NAME Training are offering Fee-Free courses for eligible students in a bid to help individuals develop their skillset for enhancing the employability of individuals in a range of sectors.

Eligibility Criteria

This training attracts full NSW Government funding under the Skilling for Recovery Program, if you meet following criteria: You are

• An AUS citizen, PR, humanitarian visa holder, NZ citizen
• 15 years or older
• Live and work in NSW
• No longer at school or equivalent

In addition to the above eligibility criteria, a student must also meet one of the criteria below:

• A young person aged 17 to 24 at commencement of training, regardless of employment status, incl. Year 12 School leavers OR
• 15A person who is a recipient of a Commonwealth Government welfare benefit (and their dependants) as specified by the Department OR
• An unemployed person OR
• An employed person who is ‘expected to become unemployed’ or ‘is at the risk of being unemployed’.
